January 29,2014 snowstorm

While this last week of weather was one a lot of us would like to forget I would like to think of the good that can come from adversity. This past week shows how in Alabama and Georgia perfect strangers came out to help stranded motorists. They checked to see what was needed and handed out food and water. They also helped get the cars out of ditches. Stores opened their doors to provide shelter for stranded motorists, as well as fire stations, community centers, and churches to  name a few. While things could have been a lot worse we find the trauma of it all lessened by the kindnesses of others.
