It’s winter and too cold to be outside to walk around the neighborhood. I find the comfort of the recliner a little cozier than the frigid air on the face and feeling like an overstuffed Thanksgiving turkey from all the outerwear.
The truth be told that we all should get some exercise in. The benefits are marvelous. I can certainly tell the difference this winter. I am finding that I don’t quite have the energy that I have during the summer. I have a few more aches and pains and the pounds have crept back.
I try to get to the gym twice a week for strength training to prevent or slow osteoporosis but even that has been hard to do this winter.

I never thought about it but maybe the lack of exercise this winter has been the reason I seem to be a little slower in picking up on things that I have heard or read.
